Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle has opened the entryways of the Manila archdiocese to drug surrenderees and drug wards who need assistance.
"We are here for you. Let us not waste life. It is important and it has to be protected and nurtured," Tagle said.
Tagle trusts the association of the congregation and group based restoration program "Sanlakbay sa Pagbabago ng Buhay" can be of backing to those engaging with medication enslavement.
He said the system can drug dependents regarding profound development, aptitudes arrangement, and work. The recovery system will be set up in various wards to achieve more individuals.
The system has cooperated with the Caritas Restorative Justice Ministry, Center for Family Ministries, UST Graduate School Psycho-Trauma, Department of Health, Department of Interior and Local Government, and the Philippine National Police.
The archdioceses of Cebu and Cagayan de Oro have additionally offered assistance to medication wards who are looking for recovery and mending.
