Her most awaited day has come, as the SC decided to acquit former president Arroyo from the alleged improper used of P366 million in Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) intelligence funds from 2008 to 2010.

It was 2012 that the 3 term Pampanga Representative was accused of plunder case and detained.

As lawyer and former Solicitor General Estelito Mendoza entered the picture as her lead counsel, it's the moment when the observers have been fearing. It was Mendoza who raised Arroyo's plunder case to the Supreme Court in 2015.

A lot of things has already happened since the case was filed in 2012.

Arroyo got lucky enough on July 19 - The Supreme Court votes and turns 11 over 4, the verdict is to acquit Arroyo.
