Camp Crame-“We are ready and have nothing to hide” These are the words of confidence expressed by the PNP chief Bato Dela Rosa as he was given advice by no less than Sen. Panfilo Lacson upon learning that there will be a Senate inquiry for the extra judicial killings and summary executions.
Sen. Lacson told the General not to lose cool and be careful in answering the questions to avoid deviating from the truth during the Senate inquiry.
“We will never lose our cool unless bastosin nila kami doon.” Dela Rosa said in an interview during his meeting with the regional directors on Tuesday at Camp Crame...
“Nakahanda kami, wala kaming itatago... we will go there in the senate with open hearts; our hearts are clean, not tainted... wala kaming dapat itago at hindi kami magpa-panic.
“Kilala naman nya (Lacson) ako, very cool ako na tao... very hot naman against the enemies”
“kahit anong imbestigasyon ang dumating... harapin namin. Bato said.
De Lima
Former CHR chair, now Senator Leila De Lima, filed a resolution 9, which is to stiffen the accountability of law enforcers in handling crimes over the rising number of extra judicial and summary killings.
“Hindi naman nila kami kailangan sindakin para lumabas ang katotohanan... yung pagpunta pa lang namin sa Senado is a sign that we are true to our words and deeds.”
“Wag silang mag- alala, ilalabas namin lahat ng gusto nilang malaman, sasabihin namin.” Bato further states.
Dela Rosa also pointed out that they would still be firm in their campaign to clean the country from drugs and they would do what they have promised the public during the campaign.
He further stressed that they are determined to finish this oath within six months and with the help of the Filipino people, we are confident we will win the war against drugs, corruption and criminality.
