Duterte apologizes to Chief justice Sereno

The humble President Rodrigo Digong Duterte made his word for Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno, the president apologized to the chief justice on Thursday.



After the president have given a tough reaction to Sereno's letter, linking the 7 judges to drug syndicate and saying that they should have warrants of arrest first.

Duterte explained, "I get tangled with the Chief Justice. I would apologize to the Chief Justice for the harsh words. It was never intended. Ba't ako kasi because of the magnitude of the problem."

"It was my way of solving the problem within the ambit of my powers as president. Kayo ang humihingi eh, even the media," he said.

The chief justice sent a 4 pages letter to Duterte and told she advised the judges who are allegedly involved in drugs to make themselves "physically accountable" if there were no warrants of arrest issued, then the tough talking Duterte replied with provocative words, cautioned for a constitutional crisis and even talking about the probability of declaring a martial law in the country.

Sereno, keep her silence and says there's no need for a respond, Supreme Court Public Information Office chief Theodore Te said on behalf of the chief justice.

Duterte also explained that it was his duty to inform the public, he also said that as president of the country, he did not have to "go through the motions of the warrant of arrest."

"Trabaho ko kasi 'yan, Para malaman mo na 'yung katabi mo, adik," Duterte stressed.
