Drug Users Surrendered in Agusan del Sur

After fearing that incoming President Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte will kill criminals under his administration, more than 100 individuals from Agusan del Sur voluntarily surrendered peacefully on police, Wednesday, June 17.

The present Mayor Jose Cuyos has also declared he will not tolerate such use of illegal drugs in their place while saying in a program.

There are 166 persons who attended the mayor's program and each of them was given a warning by the police.

Recently the Rosario Police has launched its Oplan TokHang or Oplan Toktok Hangyo (Oplan Katok Kumbinse) where policemen of the town visit the houses of possible pushers of shabu and marijuana, indentified through their databases and the help of the citizen and barangay officials who answered the surveys.

An identified suspect user said he voluntarily surrendered to the police to clear their name and swore to never use some unnecessary drugs again because of the fear of being killed once Duterte assumes this June.
