Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo is sworn by before President Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte as the chairperson of Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) on Tuesday night of July 12.
Robredo took pledge in the palace by President Duterte at Malacanang’s Sala past 6 o'clock evening.
The oath taking function was held after Duterte assembled a Cabinet conference taking after the decision of the United Nation's assertion court supporting the Philippines' argument against China over the West Philippine sea.
After several days of waiting, Duterte announced Robredo as part of his Cabinet.
Robredo has vowed to address the housing backlog.
