Duterte's First Cabinet Meeting at PICC

The incoming president Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte held the first cabinet meeting at Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Manila on June 15 and  has invited all the available incoming secretaries under his administration.

As we have known Duterte previously said that he has no plans of flying back to Luzon after the election not until his inauguration day this coming June 30. He was always in Davao City and having a meeting with his secretaries in the so called Malacañang of the South at Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) compound, Panacan Davao City last May 31, 2016.

And yet the incoming chief of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Martin Andanar clarified about having the Duterte-Robredo inauguration to held on the same date because of the space in consideration of the guests.

The Presidential Spokesperson Ernie Abella also said to columnists that Atty. Sal Panelo will never again be the presidential representative however will be the Chief Legal Counsel to the incoming President Rodrigo Duterte.
