Vice President Robredo luggage was attempted to be opened

The Vice President Leni Robredo was out of the country for two weeks attending some speaking engagements in Thailand and the US. Upon arriving from the US she's asking the Cathay Pacific management a statement as to why her luggage was seemed to have been forcibly opened. Her luggage was delivered, all two of them, to her office from the NAIA on Thursday morning.



That instant she suspected that her luggage was attempted to be open using some tool. This was manifested by the dents on her luggage, the Vice President said nothing was missing from her things but she's asking what really happened. Hence she's asking for an explanation from the Cathay Pacific people. The VP was away for two weeks attending to women's event in Thailand and a speaking engagement in the US.

Accordingly, MIAA Intel Manager Arnulfo Junio, the agency is already looking at the said incident and under investigation already. Further, a footage in the baggage handling area showed no irregularities with the handling of baggage. Junio also added, knowing it was the Vice Presidents luggage it was treated with outmost care and priority and with out delay hence it was delivered very early of Thursday morning.

Also, written Statements were already collected from the baggage loaders and the security team of the said airline, and a recorded damage of two luggage was recorded as to whether it was of the Vice President's is not yet certain.
