Parojinog admitted that his daughter, Ozamiz Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog, has a relationship with the imprisoned Colangco, which he opposed but still exposing media stories that Nova Princess and New Bilibid Prisons inmate Herbert “Ampang”Colangco are married.
President Rodrigo Duterte has recently tagged Colangco as one of the triad who runs the illegal drugs trade in the Philippines.
Parojinog said his daughter had just been granted the annulment of her marriage to former basketball player Edgar Echavez, from Ginebra Kings team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
“I welcome any investigation so that I will have the opportunity to clear my name,” Parojinog said.
Speaking to local reporters on Saturday, Parojinog said Nova Princess could not have married Colangco because she just had her marriage annulled. But in the interview, Parojinog confirmed the relationship between Nova Princess and Colangco, which he wished would end.
Colangco has also been attached to some bank robberies in Metro Manila since 2009 at the maximum security compound of the New Bilibid Prisons although it has been also debunked that he receives special treatment inside the Bilibid.
Duterte had said that Colangco together with another inmate, has been running illegal drug business from inside prison, even manufacturing shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) there.
Which is a mind boggling question for former Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila De Lima, gained a term of 6 years and now become the Senator of the country.
Why did she let this thing to prosper inside the Bilibid and did not act anything to resolve it?
