There are 1.8 million people involved in illegal drugs, citing conservative estimates from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said.
“What I know is that I’ve seen the matrix and the drug matrix of those who are highly, allegedly involved in the sale of illegal drugs. What I can only tell you, that if you see the matrix, you’ll probably say that it is really unbelievable that ganoon kadami, na ganoon kadami na ’yung mga involved,” Andanar said on state-run radio dzRB on Sunday.
“Masusuka ka ’pag makita mo,” Andanar added.
President Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte will again name other “persons of interest” soon.
The president started publicly shaming the police officials on July 5, who are allegedly into illegal drugs when he named the active and retired police generals as coddlers of drug lords.
The generals who named by Duterte during his speech during Air force anniversary, retired police deputy director general Marcelo Garbo, Jr., retired police general and newly-elected Daanbantayan, Cebu mayor Vicente Loot, former National Capital Region Police Office head Chief Supt. Joel Pagdilao, former Quezon City Police District director Chief Supt. Edgardo Tinio, and Western Visayas regional director Chief Supt. Bernardo Diaz.
Of course they all denied the charge and are all subject for investigation.
We are just gonna wait for another announcement of the president, some of public officials like mayors will be soon be named too.
