Video: Call 8888, 24 hours Direct Hotline of Duterte

When President Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte was still a mayor of Davao City, the City has ever been so proud for having 911 in case of any emergency. Surely, the Philippines will have this in the future as well.

Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar told the Inquirer the “8888” hotline will be launched this August.

“We’re launching it this August, the 8888 plus the 911,” Andanar said.

"The 117 now should be beefed up to become 911,” he added.

The newly sworn President will set a complaint office 24 hours direct hotline for all.

"They can report to me any complains" and there will be manager that would redirect their complaint to the proper office, Duterte said.
