Facebook Inverted Philippine Flag

As we have known today, millions of Filipino users marked this as one of the famous social medias in the country, Facebook popularized by its CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

and as for the commemoration of the 118th Philippine Independence on Sunday, June 12, 2016, many netizens noticed and reacted to the Facebook greetings shown in the Flag which the red side was on top of the blue (where it signifies WAR).

                   “Happy Independence Day! Here’s to all of the Philippines’ health, happiness and prosperity.”

 

from their side, Facebook already apologized for their unintentional fault...

They said, “This was unintentional, and we’re sorry,” “We care deeply about the community in the Philippines and, in an attempt to connect people on Independence Day, we made a mistake,” the statement continues.
