As the incoming president Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte said in an interview that he will not give the Vice President-elect Leni Robredo any cabinet position because he does not want to hurt the feelings of his friend Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
"Reconciliation need not come from an appointment for Robredo. There is no compelling reason for me to accommodate the VP. I am sorry. Leni must understand that she belongs to the opposite side of the political fence." Duterte said in an interview last May 31 in Davao City.
Maybe the incoming administration do not have plans for Robredo yet but the current President Benigno Aquino III said that Robredo will get a senior position in the Liberal Party last June 17.

"She is aware that she will take one of the most senior positions and the chairperson is the highest position, but in day to day activities are handle by the party president so, that will be decided by the party as a whole but I'm sure she is aware that she will be getting one of the two most senior positions and of course we have to ask her preferences for this, we recognize the value of each individuals within the party without forcing anybody to do it."
